Suzie Majikol-Maier was born in Sabah, Borneo Malaysia. She graduated from the School of Art & Design, ITM Shah Alam, Malaysia. As an artist who responds to color, her work portray distinct impressionistic influence. Over the years she have painted a variety of subjects in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel, but people, animals and birds remain her favorite subjects.Her desire to see new places and work in a more progressive artistic environment has brought her to the United States. Taking painting trips with her husband, Donald Maier to the Arizona deserts and Alaskan Glaciers have provided her with new subject to paint. Native Americans, southwestern landscapes and wildlife now dominate her work.
In 2011, Suzie and Donald were invited to participate in the Art in the Open, Wexford Ireland organized by Tony Robinson.
A recipient of several awards for artistic achievement, Majikol-Maier's work appear in private collections in Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom, Japan and USA. She and her husband are also co-founders of Gallery 4463 in Acworth, Georgia.
